Construction & Engineering Industry
I founded ProSafe Global after spending my career working inside the construction and engineering industry — not just recruiting for it.
I originally trained and began my career as a mechanical engineer, which gave me a strong technical foundation and an understanding of how design, engineering, and construction must work together to deliver safe, successful projects.
Why I Started a Recruitment Company
Throughout my project career, one issue came up repeatedly:
The cost of getting recruitment wrong.
Poorly matched hires don’t just affect productivity — they impact safety, morale, programme, and ultimately project success. I often found myself helping to assess candidates, advising on capability, or trying to solve problems caused by roles that had been filled based on CVs rather than true job fit.
I realised that recruitment in specialist construction roles should be done by someone who genuinely understands:
- The technical demands of the work
- The pressures of live projects
- The difference between paper qualifications and real-world competence
- The importance of cultural and team fit on site
What This Means for Clients and Candidates
For Clients

- Can properly assess whether a candidate is suitable for your site and team
- Focuses on long-term, reliable placements rather than short-term CV matching
For Candidates

- Your experience is matched to opportunities where you can genuinely succeed.
